Learning the Family Trade

At the beginning of April, Josh took some time to show all the kids a little bit about tuckpointing. The boys loved being out and about around the tools and other fun stuff, and Madison had a great time practicing some tuckpointing.

Madison was showing Carter and Tucker a worm.

Watching Dad mix up some mortar.

Josh and Madison doing some tuckpointing.

She loved doing it, and completed quite a few courses. I had to take the boys in for lunch, and she opted to stay outside with Dad to keep working. Love watching her focus and practice new skills.

Love these little people!!!

Josh and I both look forward to involving our children in our family business as they grow up!

Foto Friday - TNT Hats

I will have to recreate this photo in the future for sure! I can't even begin to imagine what life will be like when these hats actually fit?!?!?!?!

We Wear Red for TNT Tuckpointing

Always supporting the family business.

I thought I should document our family photos - we wear a lot of red. Haha.

Madison and her Daddy. She loves helping Josh whenever she can.

How cute are they?!

The boys in their TNT shirts.

Probably one of the last times Josh will be able to hold all three at once!!!

Mama and her girl! :)

Foto Friday - Office Work

I finally got the small desk in my office cleaned and cleared for M to do 'work' while I'm in there.

"Mama. Paper coming out now." (She's obsessed with the printer.)

BTW...I barely got anything done with her in there...but the thought was nice.

VIDEO - Madison Tuckpointing!

Madison has watched Josh tuckpoint a few times. A while ago Josh told me she tries to do it on her own. So I wanted to catch her on video and wanted to share.

I hope you enjoy them! (And, please ignore my voice.)

She was just pretending to have mud (mortor) on her hawk and she tried using dried up mortor crumbs, but Josh told me that he wants to mix her some real mud and let her really try and do it!

Foto Friday - Tuckpointer in Training

Today her tuckpointing apprenticeship began.

Putting the 'mud' (mortar) back in the joint.

"Tooling" it. (Smoothing it and making it look pretty.)

Brushing it.

The Future of TNT

A few days ago M and I went to 'help' Josh with a few minor tasks on a project we had finished. I just wanted to share the ADORABLE (If I do say so myself. Ha!) pictures or M helping her Daddy.

I LOVE this picture! LOVE it!

Carrying the bucket.

Checkin' out the 'hawk.' I think that's what it's called...it holds the mortar as they are tuckpointing...at least I know what it's for!!!

It was cuteness overload. She was probably seriously more help than me!!! Haha! Although...we're probably breaking some child labor law...but hey...she got some ice cream afterwards anyways!

Foto Friday - Built by G'Pa Tom

Josh worked on Adams Elementary this summer, and he learned that this brick planter was built by his Dad. I had to get a photo of the two of them of course!
