UNI Homecoming 2012

Last Saturday was UNI Homecoming. The last Homecoming we attended was back in 2009. So we decided this was the year to head back and to let M enjoy her first UNI Homecoming!

We left home around 9am. M had a new movie (The Princess and the Frog) to keep her content.

We arrived right around 11am, headed to HyVee to grab a few groceries, and were off to tailgate with friends!

After lunch, we headed to Redeker Center. Josh and our good friend Troy had to show Madison their names on the Gold Star Award wall. (Sorry for the blurry photo.)


Then, it was back to tailgate and have more fun! Troy and Kiley (and all our friends) were so great with M! We are SO thankful to have such great friends that love our little M.

There was a brief (and super exciting) meet-up/convo with our friends, Tara and her boyfriend, Mike. (No picture! Sorry!) Then, After tailgating, we headed to our friends' house to hang out for a while. We didn't attend the game, although I'm happy to report UNI won! Then, we were off to The OP (The Other Place) for pizza. The OP is one of Josh's favorite restaurants in Cedar Falls!


After dinner M and I headed to the hotel to go to sleep. We were both exhausted (especially M since she never got a nap in).

We had SO much fun! M was GREAT the whole day! We are SO SO THANKFUL for the awesome friendships we've kept all these years and all the wonderful memories of UNI that we share! Go CATS!
